Still Life with a Guitar

Middle Years Annual Musical

2021 student production

Performed, Illustrated, and Scored by St. Luke School MYP Students

The Spoon River Anthology is a series of narrative poems written in 1915 by Edgar Lee Masters.

The poems center around a graveyard full of the former residents from a small midwestern town outside of Chicago.

These poems, spoken from beyond the grave, reflect on the joys, sorrows, and regrets of life.

They are the voices of the faithful and the faithless, the hopeful and the despairing, the weak and the strong.

They represent the best and the worst of our humanity, and reflect the great need for the love of God in our modern lives.

We hope that you enjoy the artwork, music, and characters created by the students of the St. Luke MYP arts program.
