PRINCIPAL BOYLE's LETTER

Feb 9, 2017

dear families,

I hope you took full advantage of sharing in the beauty that blessed our area with the snow that fell last Monday. It was beautiful to see the many winter images that this weather system created for all of us. I know the students loved the “snow day”.

Congratulations to the CYO basketball teams for their excellent season. Our eighth grade girls and both seventh grade boys teams made it into the semi-final round. We are especially proud of the one seventh grade boys team for making it into the championship game.  Please plan to come and support them this Sunday, February  12th, at 3:30PM in the Blanchet High School gym.  Go Warriors!

Our teachers are studying the results of the recent MAP tests and will be meeting with students to set goals for the remainder of the trimester based on these results and other assessments.  We look forward to sharing these goal sheets with you as well as the MAP results during spring conferences. It is refreshing to see the progress our students are making.

If you have not filled out your annual appeal pledge, please do so. Funds that support scholarships, technology, and professional development are needed more than ever this year. We still have almost fifty percent of families who have yet to pledge. I cannot stress the importance of this need. Looking forward to reaching our goal of 100% participation.  Many thanks to those of you who have already done so.

May we be thankful for all the gifts that come from God flowing fully, day and night, into the lives of our St. Luke community. Thank you for everything you do to make St. Luke School outstanding.

God bless!
Rick
